Today, the temple has Devasthanam, Prakara mandapam, Madapalli and the Nandavanam. As we enter the temple, we are welcomed by an arch directing us to the direction of the Gods.
As one walks through the pathway, there is a small but beautiful garden consisting of mullai, iruvatchi, jasmine and other divine flowers. The Prakara mandapam provides the roof over the deities and the devotees. It houses most of the deities in its perimeter.
Main Deity of the temple is Shri Sarvasakthi Vinayagar. The Lord dons Sandal, Gold, Silver , Vibuthy decorations depending on the auspicious day.
As one starts to do the pradakshanam around the temple, we encounter Shri Ramabhakta Anjaneyar, the epitome of devotion and valour. He dons the sacred Tulasi on regular days, and on special days, the deity gets Vadaimalai and blesses the visitors with courage and conviction.
Shri Dhakshinamurthy, the God for the Thought and the Guru of all Gurus adorn the southern wall of the Devasthanam. It is a wonderful sight to behold when small children narrate “Guru Bramha, Guru Devo…. “ in front of him to request him to be the philosophical guide.
Facing the east, Shri BangaruSeetha, Lakshman, Anjaneyar samedha Shri Jayaramachandramurthy provides the complete picture of harmony with the strong Laxman and graceful Seetha beside him.
Shri Kalinganarthana Krishnan enthralls the devotees next. Located along the western wall of the main Devasthanam, the Lord passes on the cheerfulness of the youth along with the message of destruction of the evil.
Shri Kedareswari Samedha Shri Kedareswarar resides next to provide the devotees with the protection and power of the Eswara kadaksham.
Shri Valli Devasena samedha Shri Sivasubramanya Swamy, the dutiful son of Lord Siva and Parvathi follows next. Along with his vel and mayil, Lord Muruga continues to be a favourite among the many followers.
Shri Durgambikai presents her blessings to the devotees who are now in the northern wall of the Devasthanam. The ambigai commands a special privilege among the women on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Shri Sandikeswarar’s presence is felt next before one completes the pradakshanam. The devotees mark their attendance by drawing his attention towards them. Considered as one of the Nayanar’s, Sandikeswarar is worshipped for his devotion that enabled him to cut his father’s leg with an axe, since he reprimanded him and Lord Shiva.
Navagrihas are located at the place, when one comes back to the Mandapam after visiting all the deities. They cover all the eight directions and provide the darshan to the devotees, especially on Saturdays.
