Door-to-door campaign, followed by the well wishers and blessings of key personnel in the Cuddalore town helped to create a temple which was not envisaged by anyone in the beginning. The AHBRA conducted various methods of fund raising including enacting plays to mobilize the support from the society. The momentum carried the devotees to 03.09. 1989 when the Ashtabandhana Maha kumbabishkam was performed between 8.30 am and 9.30 am.
